St. James Gaels/An Caisléan has since 1958 been a GAA club with a focus on community ethos and developing the next generation of hurlers and footballers in the Dublin 12 and surrounding areas. Initially founded as part of the Guinness social club, the club has expanded over the last number of decades where we have teams competing in a number of competitions. This culminated with the club winning the Junior County championship in 2022. The club have had a number of players represent their county over the years and have played at intermediate and senior level.

We pride ourselves in supporting our players with our under-age structure growing exponentially over the last number of years. We cater for over 40 children in our academy each week. We bring family values to our club where fun and support are the mainstay of the club's foundation. We are based in Bunting Park and also have the use of the Iveagh Grounds or Driminagh Castle. We also welcome adult players for hurling and football.

We also look for volunteers to assist the club's continued growth. If you are interested, please reach out to us.
